Aljazeera reporter detained by ISAF

A local reporter of Aljazeera has been detained after a raid on his home by the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in the southern province of Ghazni.

Rahmatullah Nikzad was taken from his home when ISAF troops raided his home in outskirts of Ghazni city early Monday morning.

Local police have confirmed the report, but said they were unaware of whereabouts of Nikzad presently.

ISAF said in a statement they have arrested a suspected Taliban propagandist in an operation in Ghazni.

Nikzad was detained two months ago by the Ghazni intelligence office after he photographed bodies of two women killed by the Taliban spying and prostitution' in the province. He was released after two days of interrogations.

Nikzad provides videos for the Arabic channel Aljazeera and photos for the Associated Press.
