Kabul- Over the past two decades, at least 18 female journalists, media workers have been killed in Afghanistan, according to data collected by the Afghanistan Journalists Center. Dozens of other women journalists were injured across the country.
They were killed by suicide bombs, IEDs, caught in the crossfire, or targeted and killed on way from their offices to homes:
